Construct Your Learning Plan

The Learning Plan is the roadmap that you use throughout the year as you engage in Building Blocks. Follow these steps to personalize your Learning Plan:

  1. Review the Building Blocks Self-Assessment Summary. Use the Summary to prioritize your professional development needs on your Learning Plan
  2. Download the appropriate Building Blocks Learning Plan for your role and save it to your hard-drive
  3. Complete your Learning Plan. To help you complete your Plan, download the Sample Learning Plan
  4. Discuss and finalize your Learning Plan with your manager / coach during a coaching meeting
    • Consider how Building Blocks can support your Personal Development Plan
    • You and your manager / coach may choose to explore additional resources, tools, and other learning options in pursuit of your professional development goals and/or interests
  5. Agree on when you will schedule your learning and Coaching Checkpoints throughout the year
  6. Sign-off your Learning Plan and provide a copy to your manager / coach
