Coaching to BUILDING BLOCKS

According to a Conference Board of Canada report, fair and accurate feedback is the single largest driver of performance, with the potential benefit of boosting performance by nearly 40%.

Coach’s Role:

One of the roles of a manager is to coach. Whether you are a District Vice-President, a Branch Manager, or a Manager Personal Banking – coaching is central to sustaining and growing the skills and knowledge acquired through BUILDING BLOCKS.

Coaching Priority:

The most effective coaches provide specific and balanced feedback to build on strengths and address development opportunities. Coaching is fundamentally about how to facilitate change that will lead to desired results. Coaches should continuously observe performance to:

  • Expand or deepen knowledge
  • Grow functional capability
  • Enhance behaviour

Coaching Kit:
